For those who want to take their game to the next level. Tryouts start March 2020.

Rangers Basketball Club

Rangers Basketball Club is designed to increase the capacity and quality of basketball throughout Southeastern Alberta. We plan to do this by offering services to coaches, athletes, administrators and officials. We will meet the needs of all facets of the game; from introductory programs to elite level preparation and competition. We will do this through a variety of programs driven by the needs of the basketball community.

Total Athlete Development

Comprehensive curriculum

One of our strengths is the design of a comprehensive curriculum for development allowing athletes to progress through our programs, from Mini Basketball in grades 1-2 through to Elite Spring Team athletes and beyond. In addition to technical instruction, our Elite Spring Team athletes take their training to the next level through incorporating in athletic development, nutrition, mental skills and pre- and post-game training.

Experienced Coaches

High coach to athlete ratio

The success of our athletes isn’t just luck. It is a combination of coaching and work ethic. Our coaches have extensive experience playing and coaching at the post-secondary, provincial team and elite player level throughout Canada, the United States and Internationally. Basketball is their passion and they are continually expanding their knowledge and experience to benefit Rangers athletes.

Dreaming of Playing College Basketball?

Developing elite players

Our goal is to develop athletes to be ready to play at an elite level. We have had over 40 athletes get a scholarship to play post-secondary basketball, have placed nine athletes on Team Alberta and had one athlete invited to a Basketball Canada ID Camp. One hundred percent of all athletes who have played for Team Alberta from our area in the last decade have come through our Elite Spring Teams.
